Yup, great career, appreciated sixth man during the glory days with us. Actually for a guard who relied on quickness/athleticism and was just a middling shooter, he aged okay--sure his scoring efficiency went down considerably and became more of a jumpshooter, but he was still used as a 8th-9th man of sorts playing about 20 mins the last two years, so at least he didn't get relegated to 11th-12th man like most role-playing guys who hit their mid-30s.

Congrats to the best, strongest, toughest, fiercest, endowed with the biggest heart, 6'1" Power Forward to ever play the game... And, once again, welcome aboard for part 2..:D

I really like this. And, I concur, except for the Power Forward part. I'm assuming you are saying he played like a Power Forward. :p

No, no... he had it right the first time. Except for the 6'1" part; everybody knows that Jackson was a 5'11" power forward.

I agree with all of this. Even the 6'1" PF part.

One of the most memorable Kings shots for me, ever, was one where Bobby had forced his way into the paint, and was being fouled hard under the basket as he was starting to shoot. As he fell towards the floor, in almost horizontal position, he continued shooting, lobbing the ball almost straight up... and through the basket.

Some nights, there was just no stopping Bobby Jackson. I'm very glad to be keeping him around.

Now they don't even have a link to a feed anymore on the home page. Somebody screwed this up.

Click on Bobby and you get a note that there were technical difficulties. They will have footage of the press conference online later tonight.

I'd really like to see someone put together a hiighlt reel from over the years of Bobby to Jay-Z's remake of Forever Young of the Blueprint 3 album.

Does anyone have a link to the playoff picture when Bobby dove into the stands and that lady kissed him on the head?

the reverse layup he had against the mavs in the playoffs where he hung in the air for a good 3 seconds was one of the most awesomely electrifying plays I have ever seen. And I haven't seen it since 2002. Anyone have a link?

I wish!!! I could watch that play over & over again, it was just unbelievable.

If anyone knows where it can be found, please post.
