These all from espn.com:

Oden stays in Portland, 1 yr $8.9 million qualifying offer

Battier to Heat, multiyear contract at a significant portion of the $5 million mid-level exception?

Curry to Heat as well

Tyson Chandler to Knicks probable.
To create sufficient salary-cap space to sign Chandler, New York is expected
to shed the contracts of Chauncey Billups and Ronny Turiaf, through either trades or the
forthcoming amnesty clause.

Signing Chandler, sources said, could free up the Knicks to offer star
forward Amare Stoudemire to the New Orleans Hornets in a trade scenario for Chris Paul, who badly wants to reunite with Chandler
after their time together with the Hornets.

Kapono to Lakers, 1 year vet min

Jeffries stays in NY

McGrady to Hawks for 1 year vet min

Prince stays in Detroit, 4 years, $27 mil

I was gonna say that NY should trade Amare for Paul. Damn, they'd be pretty balanced with Paul, 'Melo, and Chandler.

Couple reactions:

1. Surprised about Prince staying in Detroit. Given all their turmoil last season, you'd think he'd jumped at first chance to leave. And that up-and-comers like the Clippers, who had a hole at SF, would have seemed a more desirable destination. Maybe the Clips were too distracted with the Paul/Howard drama to offer anything decent.

2. Amare to the Hornets? Not sure what they do with him--any way we could swoop in as a 3rd team and offer them more "rebuilding" pieces? Thompson, Hickson, Thornton somehow signed and traded? Then sign Hayes and Afflalo, and boom:

Cousins/Whiteside
Amare/Hayes
Salmons/Greene
Afflalo/Cisco
Evans/Jimmer/Thomas

I think that's certainly a playoff-caliber team.

Oh Amare, did you think you'd be part of a big 3 in NYC?

Hahaha.

CP3 purportedly headed to LA for Gasol/Odom. Not sure if Houston is involved anymore as a third wheel

So Paul is a Laker. They still have Bynum to offer for Howard. Personally I don't think he's good enough to get it done, and I will be pissed if Orlando take Bynum for him. Surely there will be better offers available.

Stern: "I don't believe in legacies. We had a deal we had to make." Really? What about those other offers that easily were better?

Gasol to Rockets, Odom Martin and Scola to Hornets.

Hate that the Lakers are trading for the best PG in the NBA and perhaps my favorite player in the league, but unless they get a discount on Nene or another free agent they will sorely miss Gasol when Bynum goes down with his annual injury

Wow, the NO made out pretty good in the deal...sure they lose CP 3, but they gain a starting SG/SF/PF in the deal. Works good too because I doubt West stays.

A line-up of
Okafor
Scola
Odom
Martin
Jack

is much more talented than the lineups they were putting out there at the end of last season, that's for sure.

Indeed...perhaps they make a run at Billups too. Not sure what's up with Okafor, if they want to deal him too.

Do you really think the Lakers just sent off two of their bigs for a PG without basically having assurances of getting Howard? Bynum has a 5 game suspension, so that's 5 games with literally no frontcourt in a 66 game season.

I honestly don't know, but we will see in the coming days. Orlando can get a much better deal than one centered on Bynum. The conspiracy loons will be out in full force if it happens.

P.S. Paul is not the best PG in the league. Rose is comfortably ahead of any other point guard in the game right now. All semantics though, a little irrelevant.

I happen to think it's unbelievable that the NBA-owned Hornets are trading a superstar to the Lakers.

Definitely ballsy on the NBA's part, but the reality is, there's no way this move turns off more people than it turns on. The Lakers are the biggest draw in the NBA.

Lakers getting Paul changes things, it makes it all the more likely that Dwight just flat out says he won't re-sign with anyone but the Lakers. Then the Magic have to decide between Bynum and 1 more year of Dwight then cap space.

But the Lakers wouldn't have any cap space to sign Howard.

that actually is a dam solid lineup. DAM solid - wonder if they'll blow it up though with further trades. That starting 5 could really come together

Forgot to mention that they would have gotten Goran Dragic too. Not that it matters anymore

The three team deal for Paul has been rekindled. People are speculating that the Lakers will take on Okafor this time, then the Lakers will flip Okafor for a true PF.

If you trade for a player in a multi player deal, can you then immediately flip him on a separate single trade for another player in another deal?
