Peja The Invisible

Since93

Bench
Every other player in a Kings uniform play harder than him.

This is even vs the Clippers for god sake.

Given that our new guy playing so though I offically announce that Peja doesn't belong to this 'new Kings'.

:(

Sorry to tick off our Peja fans but I would be booing the hell out of this guy. His lack of effort on the floor is amazing. This crap is getting real old. If Peja had half of Bibby's heart he would be a perennial all-star.

I was listening to the game on the radio and I didn't even know Peja was playing until 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

I don't see anything in your post that should tick off Pedja fans.

Anybody else thinks that this was the worst performance by Pedja ever?

Please you guys don't know Peja's game. He needs picks and screens to get his shot off. This should tell you how important Brad is to the team. Make judgement after Brad is back a few games. If Peja is still playing the same then I will listen to this.

The past 2 games we have seen the Peja that started out this year....completely unaggressive and passive.

Memo to Peja........suck it up and BALL!!!!!!!!! You got your way now it's time to produce.

He did deflect a pass out of bounce near the end of the forth...and yea...thats it I guess. 2 three's, wasn't able to hold onto the ball until Brunsen stole it from him during the last 32 seconds (but that wasn't his fault). But yea, pedja who? Someone should slap him and wake him up. Welcome to bibby-land mr. stojakovic ;) he'll smarten up towards the playoffs...gurantee it haha

I'm just curious, but were you one of the people that once booed Webber??

No excuses no matter if Brad was playing in the game or not. That was a pathetic display if I ever saw from someone not named Vince considering his talent level.

It is perfectly normal to criticize a player after a subpar performance.

Bottomline - we still won the game

Peja was being guarded pretty good in the game, he did have a nice dish to corliss in the game, he no matter what was a great decoy, because you just can't leave him.

You won't see very many 2-10 games out of peja thats for sure.

I'm a huge Peja fan...but even I was ticked off at him. His lack of energy is upseting and right now, he needs to be asked if he is truly in or out.

I've seen his game for the last 6 years. Hopefully this is the year he totally wears a skirt during the regular season and plays hard in the playoffs instead of vice-versa.

The worse part is... this is vs the Clippers. Not Spurs not Twolves not nothing. And still, sigh.

This is a matter of heart.

All our players play with such huge heart. (especially with the newcomers) I just personally don't see Peja fit in this team, AT ALL.

If Petrie still thinking this guy to be our future, he has a serious problem.

Errrrrr... its because Webber didnt pass him the ball.

Why bring Webber into this. I wish this would stop. What are you trying to do? Make it another Webber- Pedja thread that said you are sick and tried of. Stop it and grow up.

Well everyone in the world knows Peja has trouble creating his shot. He is best when plays are made for him. Nobody in todays line-up could do that.

Last year we had Vlade when Chris was out. It's not an excuse its reality of the type of player Peja is. He is getting better at trying to create but still needs help.

I followed Pedja since he came to Kings and yes I am aware of his playing style. Some things are indefensible though.

Of course, it will be very interesting how will he respond to this. If he shows up big in the next game or at least puts up bigger effort then all this blip will be easily forgiven.

um, no.... I just can't stand watching someone not give the effort and Peja looks like he has never played this game before.

Umm.. You are right.

Doug is gone.

He is the one always finds Peja.

I wasn't. I thought the Webber vrs. Peja thing was overrated and I was pointing it out. Thanks for understanding.

I am not some PEJA lover, I am just saying wait until Brad gets back. Then lets see if his numbers/play improve

Personally, I'm disgusted when I hear the media talk about Petrie building this team around Peja. This is Bibby's team and should be built around him. I don't care if Peja WAS the best shooter in the league, it is clear that he doesn't care anymore, and tonight was over the line for me. Peja has no special place in my heart like Webb did, and I would give anything to trade him off for Chris to come back. As far as I'm concerned, Peja has given up, and personally, I don't think he has a place on this team any longer.
