WORD! Jessica Alba is too hot for words, she makes everoyne look like walrus.

You know who'd be a great fit for the team tho? Wolverine. He's self healing with an indestructible skeleton meaning he'd never be on the IL, a nice change for the injury ridden years we've had. His superb jumping ability would make him a great rebounder, dunker and combined with his animal instincts, a great shotblocker too. Exactly what we've been needing. His animal instincts would also give him a great awareness of what's going on on the court all times, making him a great defender and passer too. This dude could be walking a triple double! The claws would make him a great choice for the enforcer of the team too. I worry about his jumper tho. ;)

Not only that, but he's played by Huhg Jackman, so it would keep the female fans happy. ;)

Wonder is Superman is available. Hmmm Underdog is too short.

Yeah, that's what they say about Earl Boykins and look how good that turned out. You have to give these guys a chance but you guys are forgetting probably the best realistic basketball player. Gambit, from the XMen. I'm sure the NBA will come up with a rule to prohibit the use of superpowers to superpowered beings in the NBA.

But Gambit's power can be used undetectable. He has natural strength, speed, and agility. At 6'1" he can dunk a basketball with ease. He has quick hands and and fast reflexes so steals and assists will come in plenty. He also has the mutant power to charm anybody. Sounds weak but it will come in handy when he convinces refs to make correct calls and calls that go our way. Think about it.

how about peja for the artist formerly known as princehe has skills(and he can pancakes for everyone after the game). . did you guys see chappelle show?

I still think Popeye looks promising... but I suspect that whole substance abuse thing could really be a deal breaker.

He doesn't always appear to have control over those claws, and I'd be worried about all the balls we'd be replacing. The healing abilities and the indestructable skeleton, however, would be huge...for obvious reasons.

Not this one.

Not this one.
He's too much of a loose cannon, nobody can say the guy doesn't have heart but can you imagine if "He" went into the stands in Detroit? Lets just say, It wouldn't be pretty.

Okay, so we send him to anger management classes and put him on anti-depressants if necessary. I think Wolverine should definitely be considered, although I do admit the possible public relations disaster would have to weigh heavily into the discussions.

We probably wouldn't have to worry about the spreading of trade rumors and such either, since Wolverine usually keeps to himself and is pretty much a closed book. I bet the media would hate him tho, since his interviews would mostly consist of one word answers, if he even gives an interview in the first place that is.

And that one word would most likely be spun like fine gold. I would love to see AV's first interview with Wolverine. I would even pay real money to be there in person.

c'mon you guys? wolverine? if he were on anger supressing meds he wouldn't be the same player. he wouldn't play with the same passion.

no love for gambit?

Look if we could have anyone we want of course I'd want Superman, but the Justice league isn't just going to give him up, they'd want a whole lot in return.

I actually think this would be a good deal for the Kings.

I mean, its no secret that Wonder Woman is MUCH tougher than Peja and Im certain she's a better rebounder too. I know she's not mentally fragile like Peja and can probably hold up under the spotlight of the playoffs, and probably even if her security blanket (The invisible jet) signs with LA as a free agent. Plus, she's got a great body and looks super hot in that bikini-thingy she wears.

Underdog is clearly just a throw-in to make the salary cap issues work, but I think he'd be a nice backup to Mike if Eddie House gets hurt.

TRADE ACCEPTED.

Also, Wonder Woman could fit in nicely. She could use the Monarchs locker room much like Peja does already.

She is probably a bit tougher than he is, and has that invisible jet. Peja has the invisible heart....I"LL TAKE THE JET!!!!

Underdog would most likely shoot less than Eddie House, and he isn't on the team because he's someone's brother in law either....

Wonder woman doesn't even qualify to play in the NBA! She's all woman have you seen her? No she'd have to go to the Monarchs if anything. As far as Underdog goes I think there is a lot better talent out there in the comic universe, do we really want to settle for a second rate short little dog man?

I heard Mark Cuban is pushing hard to get Galacticus for the 5 spot, but Nellie thinks he'll be another stiff like Bradley.

I'm sorry, but you're mistaken. Trading Wonder Woman for Peja Stojakovic would maintain the exact same quotient of females that the Kings already have. No difference, except for the plane.

And superhero ability.

I dont know if it is just me, but clowns creep me out

I've met a lot of people who were traumatized by the clown doll in the movie "Poltergeist". Not sure why clowns are percieved as evil, but I think all of that striking makeup and disproportionate clothing puts kids ill-at-ease when they are in close proximity.

BREAKING NEWS - PART 2

In more recent developments, the Underdog portion of the upcoming trade has been squashed by PETA. A spokesperson for the organization, speaking from the San Francisco City Council chambers, said the conditions of the locker rooms were simply unacceptable for any living creature, especially dogs.

Revised speculation includes a possible substitution by The Thing, pending weight verification.

Look we need toughness and we need rebounding. I think you know were I am going with this one... why sign the Thing when we can get the guy who kicked his ***!(it did happen people). Of course I am talking about the Hulk! You want someone who can punish Shaq inside? The guy is like 9 feet tall and built like a tank! The only drawback I can see is what he might do if the refs screw us in the playoffs on a goaltending call... but all in all I'd love to see him rip Jack neis or Joey Crawfords heads off and fling them into the crowd.

The problem with the Hulk, as has been mentioned before, is two-fold.

1. Purple, black and green just look horrible together - kind of like a big ugly bruise.
2. Uniform allowances could become a real financial issue and a deal breaker.
