Pedja and Miller not likely in game 1 sacbee

Actually, postgame KT corrected that. Said his career points game was 33. Don't know when or who against. (Maybe the Kings LOL ;) )

It's as BrickLayer mentioned it's against the Lakers. Game 3.

Grant and Mike are interviewing Brad Miller right now and he says he feels pretty good. Brad says he hopes he showed enough confidence to Coach to play tomorrow.

Thats good to hear. Just by Brad being in the game it helps us and may hurt them mentally, especially if they were planning on a non-brad/peja team.

I am all for Brad coming back and playing but I think the ideas of him coming right out and being the same player he was are a little bit too optimistic. There are a lot of questions as to what kind of shape he will be in. You never know though, he could pull a Bobby Jackson and come back and destroy.

I expect the starting line-up in game 1 to include both Brad and Peja.

I think Seattle is going to be prepared for anything. It's the playoffs and I am sure coach McMillian will have them prepared should both Miller and Peja play in game 1. So I really don't see us surprising them if they play.

Miller, Stojakovic Ready to Play Saturday Against Seattle

Sacramento Kings starters Brad Miller and Peja Stojakovic will suit up Saturday for game one in the first round of the Western Division NBA Playoffs, when the Kings will take on the Seattle Sonics.

Head coach Rick Adelman said Miller went through a full practice Friday. Adelman said Miller looked good, and Miller said he felt good. The coach hinted Miller could possibly get some court time in the 7:30 p.m. matchup against the Sonics.

Speaking to News10 on Friday, Miller said he's looking forwward to getting back into action, "I'd love to sit out there and get a chance to feel and somehow contribute," he said. "Just doing a lot of the little things. I can still do that."

Miller has been on the injured list six weeks with a fractured fibula suffered in practice.

Small forward Stojakovic missed the final three games of the regular season with a strained groin. He had scored 14 points partway through the first quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers game last Friday when he pulled up with the strain.

Point guard Mike Bibby, who sat out Wednesday's victory over the Phoenix Suns with soreness, will play Saturday, as will Brian Skinner. Skinner, who sprained his foot in the game and had to leave the court, had been filling in for Miller position.

Wednesday saw the return of reserve point guard Bobby Jackson after a four-month layoff with a wrist injury. Off the bench, Jackson sparked the Kings 132-107 win over the Suns with 15 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Saturday's contest begins at 7:30 p.m. on News10.

Oh Man, I'm so excited!!! Thanks for posting such good news! Even if Brad doesn't start and can only play limited minutes, I think he still is going to do a lot to help the offense and the team's morale. Maybe things are starting to turn around for us...at least this year the guys who are injured are able to at least try and come back unlike past years!

I would like Brad to get about 10 min or so in game 1 just to get some coheseviness back. I wouldn't start him simply because that starting 5 has never played together. 10 min game 1 20 min game 2 and start game 3 in ARCO

I think the title of this thread needs to be changed, don't you? :)

Go Kings!

Watch them both not play now. Peja re-strained the groin in his sleep and Brad bangs his leg in the shower door. Damn you FINLEY! ;)

Well, if they both don't play, don't kill the messenger. :)

The people at the bee don't know what they are talking about when they say that peja and brad won't play. Marty McNeil also said that Bobby wouldn't play against the suns. I listen to what Grant says. He is close to the team and usually knows what is going on. GO KINGS. :)
