Paul Westphal=Worst Newcomer?

Skip Bayless is HORRIBLE, I agree there. But Stephen A. Smith just wants to take Kobe's jock strap and drink the leftover sweat, and I can't handle some man who hangs from another mans jock so hard. And he is wrong 95% of the time, which is why he no longer is employed by ESPN.
Steven A. is actually a cool dude, I've talked to him on a couple of occasions when he worked for the Sixers, he was on Iverson's jock back then just like he's on Kobe's these days, so it's nothing new...he's got alot of NBA knowledge, believe it or not. Bayless...well, I have never met him before, so I cant speak for him...maybe he's more reserved and knowledgable in person. :D

The thing is: No one knows ANYTHING about how/what this Kings team will do, it's a TOTALLY new team with a TON of new blood, and a whole new coaching staff. All this prognosticating should wait at least until we get a pre-season game or 2 under our belts to see how the team plays together as a whole. Everything is unknown...and for anyone to judge how good/bad a move Westphal is at this point is just plain stupid.

While I think throwing out Westphal as the worst move of the summer in the NBA is kind of silly (and it should be noted here that exactly ONE person did so) the second part of your statement is not really true. This may be a new team yadda yadda (not really so much there either -- we haven't done anything over the summer except take our draft picks and return to hibernation), but Westphal is anything but new. He's the one thing on the roster that is proven and well known. And that can obviously be either a good thing or a bad thing depending on your opinion of him. But he's hardly an unknown, and 60 yr old coaches with decades of NBA experience are hardly creatures you cannot take a stab at evaluating when they are hired.
