honestly, it really would make for a great lineup. brad plays high post, howard down low. jameer is a scorer more than a playmaker, so brad could split duties with point. i think his height, and his lack of true point guard skills is the reason the magic are hesitant to put him next to lewis and howard as their future.

im not too crazy on what we would get back, maybe throw in a pick? looking at last season, its understandable where his trade value is, but i think miller will bounce back, and especially if hes playing next to the guy with shoulders as broad as a barn door.

At this point no one we have has a whole lot of trade value. With the knicks cooling off on the whole artest for lee idea, i dont think there is another team who is really serious about getting artest. Might as well cut our losses for the offseason and let these guys play and hope to increase their trade value. It cant go down a whole lot more than it is already is. Unless Petrie himself can return to form and make a classic steal of a deal trade for us, i dont see anything of any significance happening this summer.

if they still had darko id be down for it but now... they have no one that i would want to see on the kings.... though arroyo is cool... maybe reddick...

Straight salary shed huh?

Similar to my idea of swapping him to New Jersey for Jarron Collins and pawns. And you would think that if we offered him to teams looking to make moves in the playoffs, and those were our tems -- enders, short term deals, not much else -- that SOMEBODY would bite. As long as we don't keep on telling everybody how out of shape he is of course. ;)

In any case, I would like to get SOMETHING of value back out of Brad, but if not, not given his value/contract. Moving these guys (Brad, Kenny, KT, Salmons) can just be looked at as trading them for capsace in our target 08-09 offseason anyway, so even if you dump them all for nothing that "nothing" could turn into a star player off the free agent market.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. I think Miller would do well teaming up with Howard.
