I think it would be outstanding for commuters.

I commute from Elk Grove to Rancho Cordova each day for work. There is NO good way to go. As it is now, I catch Power Inn @ Calvine, take Power Inn to 50, and then take 50 east to Zinfandel and exit there. IT SUCKS, but its the fastest way I've found. I live less than a mile from the Hwy 99 on ramp @ Calvine, but 99 is a mess, and I start work @ 7am, so I beat the REAL crush of traffic.

This new connector would likely cut my commute time down and make it much less of a hassle to get to work. I'd welcome it with open arms.
