One writer sees flop as new plan to stop DMC

Cousins flops plenty and I think that's visible out there and probably why the refs sometimes don't call when he gets mugged. Whatever happened to fining players for flopping? it was a nice gesture but it didn't last very long and it's far from consistent.

Everyone in the NBA flops and they have been for a while now. Against bigger/stronger/more physical players you will always see defenders flopping players like Nene/Howard/Z-Bo/Pekovic and a number of other power players all have to deal with it, it's not just a "plan to stop DMC"' it's a plan against physical players. Players are and will forever flop against Cousins which means the stupid reach in and needless fouls he picks up he has to stop since they become even more magnified like they did in the Dallas game. Cousins himself flops and exaggerates contact all the time so I don't really see the point of the article it's like saying water is wet.

No one's a victim here the entire NBA deals with it and until the NBA stamps it out league wide it will keep occurring to big men/post up guards who want to play physical.

As much as it sucks, the only real solution might be for Cuz to start flopping himself. He doesn't exaggerate contact or "flop-back" when another players starts flopping, which is, unfortunately, a proven tactic for dealing with floppers.

You guys who are saying that Cuz flops too much and is out of control.....smh. You did watch the Portland game right? You did see the TRob flop? You did see the 6th foul called on Cuz right? You did see TRob wrestling with Cuz to establish a post position? Not a foul on TRob for beating up on Cuz in the post but if Cuz did that, it would be a foul every time. And as far as the bitching and complaining from Cuz....most NBA players complain....you watched the Clippers game right? Anyone complain more than that team?

The flopping against DMC is somewhat of a phenomenon. When have lesser players so frequently got the benefit of a call as a result of their flopping against a superior opponent? Smells like officiating mixed with the Kings.
