Willie Nelson just couldn't wait to get on the road again. The Kings, on the other hand, would very easily like to spend no time on the road and play all their games at Arco. Unfortunately the league doesn't seem to share their vision and the Kings set off on a pre-Christmas trip that could end up very Grinchlike.
The first step? Boston. And what's in Boston? Just the hottest team in the NBA with THREE (count 'em) legitimate super stars finding a way, at least so far, to put aside egos and play the game of basketball as a team game. Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett are formidable foes at any time. Put them together and take away two Kings starters and you have a recipe for a tea party in Boston that only the Mad Hatter would want to attend.

Let's think good but realistic thoughts. We may not beat the Celtics but we can hope for energy and effort, heart and hustle from our Kings.
