They were both around pre-crash, but I seem to remember you mostly posting in the Monarchs folder pre-2004, so y'all's paths may not have crossed. Cafe1 was from Phoenix: I think that @Ryan might have had a crush on her. :p

Kriss Kross was mainly an "OG" in the sense that he was one of the OG Habitual Line Steppers™.
100%. My first digital crush.

I can't believe how many of the fans from the early 2000s are still here... Memories!

I sat down to watch the game on Saturday, not thinking I'd have any rooting interest. I was very wrong... lol
Hey Supes nice to see you again! One of the worst parts of the last 17 years was the good people who faded away without some GBCW post trashing the team and just kind of moving on.

There's a few old timers I'd like to see back, sadly the one I enjoyed chatting with the most name has escaped me. Chef, I think living in Chicago, from Eastern Europe originally, ring bells?

Also the cool-heel Gargamel just because I shared a birthday with a Laker fan. Maybe if we play in round 2?

The world (and this site) isn't ready for a fully renewed Kings-Lakers rivalry.

Didn't Chef have a South Park avatar? Or was that JoMama?

To the bolded, I know what you mean. I hesitated to log back in because that's bandwagon-y. It was really the VF21 thread that got me, I just had to pay respects. (And the captcha verification didn't make it easy, btw.)

A Kings/Lakers matchup would be insane. I don't know if I'm ready.

His name wasn't Chef - not a cartoon av I don't think. My inbox had to be cleaned out doing all those drafts over the years so I totally forget I think name started with a B but I am bad with names.

Who cares about a bandwagon right now. We're maybe on the second floor.

Old school players are very familiar with what happens when an opposing player goes beyond being physical and starts to mess with people and creating potential injury. The old NBA had some really dominant centers before the 3 point shot took over. They tended to be the Enforcers. Guys like Wilt, Dawkins and Thurmond were guys you did not want to mess with, Lambeer and a few others. Charles Oakley.

If Green is not suspended he better look out.

I have a very old book published in the early 1970's , I think...about the greats of the day.
I remember one line very clearly.
"When Wilt's (Chamberlain) game is right there is no one alive with the strength to stop him"
I got to see him battle Bill Russell once at the Forum as a kid.
I can't even remember who won, just the power on display, two huge men simply at war with each other on the basketball court.

Green will play as he always has, but he may find other players responding differently. His reputation has never been stellar.
