I want to see purple jerseys with the old logo that was on the black jerseys in 01-02.

I LOVED the Black Jersey's from a decade ago. Why did we go away from them? That photoshopped picture with the purple lettering looks sharp IMO. Add some silver trim to the edges and I think we have ourselves a WINNER!

I like the eggplant color idea, but NO gold accents...bleh!

Yeah, no gold. Brings back horrifying flashes of the gold unis and the big gold number 6. Yikes!

Anyway, purple black and silver are the team's official colors right now. I could see silver or a silvery gray. I like a really dark purple. Thank goodness the current purple-colored jerseys are darker than the last ones.

Just to clarify a bit...I should have been clearer. I was and am advocating for a return to "basic black" for our alternate jerseys. And no, we haven't had an alternate jersey since the gold lamé fiasco. I, too, am very fond of the deep purple/royalty look but think a new alternate jersey of black with deep purple and silver trim would truly represent our new young team.
