Why did Philly take Webber with his leg and his contract? Everyone here knew he isn't the Webber of old, but Philly didn't seem to.....
Please, Webber was still a good player and we didnt exactly get a Mag in return. CM is way better than Peja. Kaman is like ridiculously better than Tag. I wish the trade would take place.

i didn't know peja read this forum. it's all speculation on the forum and it's fun for us fans to throw things around. no harm in it UNLESS peja reads the forums.

People who read this forum also attend games. Their attitude is picked up by the media, fellow Kings fans, etc.

As fans, I strongly believe we should encourage the members of our own team. I don't see the "fun" in bashing them.

If you're going to quote me, please quote me IN CONTEXT. What I actually said was:

Right now, I'm just saying we need to encourage Peja to do the best job he possibly can because the Kings need him. If the fans turn on him now, it won't do ANYONE any good.

Why would the Kings trade Peja to a team in their own conference, let alone in the same division. We don't need another ball hog like maggette on the team, who is a streaky shooter. With Bibby able to penetrate, we need shooters, just look at what Houston did to us with the shooters they have. Give Peja sometime, he will get back to the old peja we know.

Actually that's exactly backwards -- we continue to need players who can attack the rim. We love our shooters in Sato but shooters have a hard time working with other shooters because nobody creates spacing for anybody else, and there are no passing lanes from one point on the perimeter to another point on the perimeter.

As an aside, Bibby penetrates, but he does NOT drive and dish particularly well. When he drives, he's normally looking to score.

Good point, but I don't see the Kings trading away the best shooter in the league to a team in their own division. If anything, the Kings would go for a two guard who can attack the rim.

I just had a vision -- of Erik "Pippi Longstocking" Daniels.

If I were ever going to poke out my own eyeballs, I'd use chopsticks.

I have no idea why.

Nor do I know why I felt like sharing this, but, there you have it.

Great. Now I'll be up all night wondering if she meant the cheap, squared-off balsa wood chopsticks or the nice round bamboo ones.

I cant see the Clips giving up on Kaman, either. Why would they want O-Tag? Why would ANYONE want him...still not sure why we gave him $4 million for each of the next 2 years. The Clips arent that stupid, they arent giving up Maggette or Kaman, even if Petrie did call with this deal.

I think ESPECIALLY if Petrie was on the other end of the line. Other GMs are going to start hanging up on the guy... :)

Ostertag has to be the biggest mistake Petrie has ever made on a FA signing. I guess every human being is entitled to a mistake or two in a lifetime.

At the time we signed TAG I believe the Lakers hadn't settled their squabbles so TAG was seen as 6 fouls to use on Shaq. So, if you use the same justification for the Eastern Conference he should be, at least partially, attractive to someone there for the same reason. And, as an aside, it's indicative of our team's discipline that TAG wasn't told to keep his weight down when he broke his hand...pool work and the bike.
