Speaking of Bobby Portis... there's another player I would rather have than Cauley-Stein. He does everything you want a PF to do... defends, rebounds, bangs in the post, he's got range on his jumper, he can face up and get to the basket, he converts at the line. Great value this low in the draft.

Grant is 6'3.25 in bare feet per DraftExpress. As everyone knows NBA heights are often puffed outrageously but the scouts know.
Most people play baketball with shoes... when you talk about a player height you talk about it in shoes. And I care about the listed height because I compare them to the listed height of other NBA players.

That's 6'4.25" in shoes. I don't know about you, but I would consider that a big PG.
So we round way up to 6'5" instead of much more realistic 6'4"? That's NBA for you and I am ok with it since totally meaningless unless you prove it at NBA level. I'm not sure Grant is all that good for so-called "big PG."

So...Tyus Jones gets to ride the bench behind Kyrie? He gets to wave the Dukie towel, or what? There's gotta be a trade coming on this one.

Most players will wear shoes that give them an extra .5-1 inch in hieght that they wouldn't wear in games. That's why no shoe height is important.

I like Milutinov for the Spurs. They're masters at stashing future NBAer overseas. I think this guy will be a pretty decent backup center down the road when he comes over.

the key to WCS is DMC.

The meh rebounding meh scoring defensive specialist absolutely makes sense if its playing alongside the mega scoring mega rebounding beast. Then it goes all Tom Cruise and completes us.

Trade DMC and all of a sudden WCS is an incredibly limited pick. But that's not the idea. This is a perfect roleplaying complement. And we need more of those, not less.
I'm ok with role playing complements for the right price. A #6 for a role playing complement is a failure, like paying Sacks-like prices for a toothbrush. I do agree that when Cousins leaves WCS is an incredibly limited pick. That factor, in and of it itself, makes the pick even worse.
