Official 08-09 Season Prediction thread

That's cheating -- we already had one of these before the season before anybody knew what was going to befall us. ;)

My prediction? PAIN. :p

ill say we get 40 wins tops 30 minimum...

what we should predict is how long will brad be around in the line up... if the management is trying to rise his stock in exchange of wins... he can be a good asset then for a contender... or a playoff team

36-26 .581 (48 win pace) from here on out.

Other fun numbers:

To win 45, which you would have to say would be the barest minimum you could even conceive of getting oyu a #8 in the West (requiring both Dallas AND a now healthy San Antonio to win less that number?):

40-22 .645 (53 win pace)

to win 50, which it took to get #8 last year?:

45-17 .726 (60 win pace)

There are still some people that think this is a good team. It is not a good team (unless you use the rating system of: Horrible, Good, Really Good, Elite). I still predict 35 wins max. This is not a team that will see 50% wins this year...and I don't have a problem with that.

Adelman last year - 44
Muss lone year - 33
Theus first year - 38
Theus second year - 35
Theus third year - 47
Theus fourth year - 52
Theus fifth year - 60+ (NBA Championship)

Rebuilding to a Kings title (and hopefully it's in Sacramento) - why not?

Pass me the koolaid. I guess the burning question is, whats the name of the team that Theus is coaching in his third, fourth, and fifth years?
