Ocho Cinco!?!?!?!?

The Cincinnati Bengals receiver has legally changed his name to Chad Javon Ocho Cinco in Broward County, Fla., a switch that became official this week. Johnson, who lives in Miami, didn't return a message left on his cell phone Friday night.
"It's something I don't think anyone has ever done before," he told the team's Web site. "Have I ever had a reason for why I do what I do? I'm having fun."

As a Cowboys fan, It is nice to see this. This is making Terrell Owens seem almost normal... What is he thinking???

One thing, KG4? While this may make "Ocho Cinco" more than just a little off center, it certainly doesn't make Terrell Owens "normal" by any stretch of the imagination...

Silly Cowboys fan.

I love it!

Ocho Cinco may be a bit over the top, but entertainment needs people like him!

I am a Bengal fan since 1981... I hate Ocho Stinko.. He is what's wrong with sports (his little off season tirade and almost not reporting to training camp)

See that's the thing.. I like watching everything Ocho and the best part is that I don't have to deal with him being on my team. :D

I don't get the opportunity to live in Cincinnati, but I read what they have to go through.. It reminds me a lot of Ron Artest.. Seriously.. It's that bad. REAL talented player who just doesn't "get it".

the reason he did this, and NOT to make it seem "normal" at all, was a money thing. Players get a percentage of jersey sales and since he never got that contract extention that he wanted, this was his way of making some of that money back.

Still a stupid move IMO lol.

I wonder, if after he retires, does he change the name back to Johnson?

You know...I just thought of something. If he meant it to read, "eighty five," then it should be "ochenta cinco." His just reads "eight five."

Picky, yes...it's kinda what I do.

You're not alone; I've thought that many times.

they've been talking about how ocho cinco doesn't mean 85 for a long time. They've been saying it's ochenta y cinco just as long

I have to admit to not having paid much attention to the NFL yet...I'll jump back on board this weekend.
