Anna Nicole Smith has died at the Hard Rock, CNN reporting

CNN is reporting that Anna Nicole Smith has died after she reportedly collapsed at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino about 2 p.m.
The flamboyant starlet was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital after the incident. Local police were reportedly forced to shut down the streets to expedite her transport.
Fire crews and emergency personnel performed CPR on Smith, putting a tube down her throat, Access Hollywood reported.
 
Even if you weren't a fan of hers (I didn't care for the way she lived her life, but I appreciated the scenery), one can't help but feel sad on behalf of her infant daughter.

Judging by the fishy circumstances surrounding the OD of her older son, I'm not even so sure if the new child won't be better off in the long run by not being under her influence.
 
IIRC, there is still a court case going on about her inheritance. She's up against the rich old geezer's son.

With Anna and her son gone I wonder what happens to the case? Does the geezer's son get to keep all the money now if no one pursues Anna's side?
I suppose her estate will keep it up...:confused:

I'm not sure of the details though, I don't care enough to follow the case closely.
 
Not entirely shocking but really sad. Hopefully her estate and her late hubby's estate can come to some kind of settlement that will give the baby a decent life because with two family members dying young under shady circumstances you know she'll be in for a bumpy ride. And hopefully they resolve the paternity issue as well and get the baby in a stable home ASAP.
 
She was a lot more like Marilyn Monroe than even she knew, I guess. I felt sorry for her because she just didn't look like she was ever really happy - at least not without the benefit of a lot of medication.

RIP Anna Nicole.
 
Not to get too drama queeny here, but I might be a little concerned for that baby. Let;s see, a woman involved in a $400 million nasty lawsuit against her ex-sugar daddy's family has her primary heir suddenly and mysteriously kickoff at age 20, and then she suddenly and mysteriously kicks off a few months later at 39. That crap only happens in the movies, but only one direct heir to that lawsuit remaining.

Accoding to Scarborough Country last night.... Her x husbands son, The guy she as sueing died a few months ago so its now estate vs estate. Lawyers vs lawyers..............
 
This is tragic.... Anna Nicole didn't do the smartest things, but her life was a living pain. May she rest in peace along with Daniel. I'm hoping the baby girl is going to be okay, too. :(

Hopefully, there is someone who cares about the baby and will take good and loving care of her.

With $400 million at stake, and with the judge refusing the DNA tests for some reason, I am about to jump into the ring myself. I impregnated Anna Nicole damnit! That's my kid! Gimme my money. :D

P.S. If I win the lawsuit there is a brand new BMW in it for any and all that are willing to appear as witnesses on my behalf attesting to having seen me and Anna doing the wild thang about a year ago. :p

Her son died with methadone in his system mixed w/ two antidepressants (which may not have been doctor prescribed). Methadone surely wasn't prescribed for him unless he was a heroin or morphine addict. Even in that dysfunctional family, he didn't seem THAT far gone.

Anna Nicole was a Vicodin addict in the 90s (if not currently). We'll soon find out what lethal combination of drugs did her in. The media was quick to claim that she died like Marilyn, but Marilyn died in her bed in what was most likely an intentional suicide. Carole Landis (1940s) and Dana Plato are two other actresses who intentionally OD'd in privacy. Being that Anna Nicole was walking around in public in broad daylight before she keeled over, it sounds like she probably died like her son did -- unintentionally, of a bad mix of drugs.
 
I believe Anna's son was known to have used heroin.

One of the tabloid rags is suggesting that Anna may have made the kid with her dead hubby's frozen sperm... would be a nifty way to resolve the inheritance issue.

Also, who knows what was up with Nicole's weight swings. Mixing drugs and multiple weight loss surgeries surely can take its toll.

The son who battled her in court died last June from some kind of bacterial infection.

Judging by her lack of complexity, I'd say she gained that weight thru gluttony and lost it all thanks to stomach stapling. The likelihood that she lost that weight thru diet, exercise, or even with prescription appetite supressants has gotta be nill. That route takes discipline and willpower. It sure as hell wasn't TrimSpa either (they've been dinged for false advertising just like every other bogus over the counter weight loss pill).
 
Most likely she was just doing some kind of amphetamine diet. Don't weight loss surgeries leave nasty scars?

They can do it laparoscopically thru puncture(s) instead of incisions.
