Not that bad.

I'm not trying to be an apologist, but I don't really think this was that bad a game.

I think Adelman did a great job getting the Kings back into the game by first letting the starters play through their funk in the 3rd, but then mixing things up with bench subs when things got desperate. Then Evans, and Songalia had some good moments, and Special K played some good defense.

They had a real good shot at coming back and winning the game, but I don't really put much stock in this loss. Looked like just a funky, out-of-sync kind of game. Time to shake it off because they're staring down the barrel of another back-to-back on Fri/Sat.

ya I agree. Just would of been nice to win this one considering how tough the schedule gets this month after these next few games.

I agree, but you know...4 game road trip. They still have a shot at 3-4 or at least 2-2. I would be disappointed if they go 1-4, but I really doubt that will happen.

Good points. At least we took out the Spurs before we started this trip, and if the Kings can get Atlanta I like our chances against New orleans no matter how bad we play.

It seems we almost always face Toronto on the second night of a back-to-back and they almost always play us tough. This wasn't a benchmark game. We had that last night - after last Sunday's win over the Spurs - when we finally beat the Knicks on their home turf.

This could have been a lot uglier than it ended up. I'm just glad they get to go where it's a little warmer. Our guys aren't used to COLD and in Toronto right now, it's COLD.

:D

Sorry but when the best FT shooting team miss 13 FTs - is is pretty bad.
When 2 best players shoot 8-32 is pretty bad

I would have to agree with Piksi on this one. A few players had some good efforts(Bibby and Miller), but overall it was a bad game.

I thought Adelman did a horrible job last night. Team is quick shooting the basketball and he calls a time-out. He then calls a play and a shot goes up right as the ball gets thrown in  . It's obvious the team doesn't listen to him.

Also, as is typical of him, he let the other team dictate the match-ups. Tag should have played last night and kept Jalen Rose out of the middle whenever he posted up one of the guards.

His biggest mistake was taking out the team that brought them back. When he brought Webb, Peja and Christie back in I was screaming at the TV. I've always supported Webb but last night he didn't have it and was abused by Chris Bosh on the defensive end and couldn't hit a shot.

Of course, if the Kings would have hit their free throws we wouldn't be talking about this.

It was a bad game, but it wasn't a "Oh my God the sky is falling; we're doomed" game. Sometimes there are just nights when nothing goes right. Last night was one of those nights...

Even then, Bibby misses key free throws and Miller passed up at least three wide open shots to pass to people who weren't able to convert either.

It was a bad game but it was simply one game. Besides most everybody had to know this was a trap game. We beat the Spurs at home (much more important) and beat NY on the road the night before where we never win. Even the best teams lay an egg sometimes. Peja had a horible night, which is rare. Web had a bad night which you have to expect because of the knee on the second night of a back to back. And we missed freethrows. Despite all that (and being down big) we closed the gap and lost close. It sucks and this is clearly a team we are better than, but by no means was last night bigger than one game.

It's not only pretty bad, it's awful! It's also very rare.

;) cute excuse VF .... I just wish that was the reason... considering Kings managed to win here in Toronto on MUCH colder nights than it was last night :D But I LOVE your way of justifying things

It was about the only thing I could come up with. They didn't give me much to work with...

;)

Okay, I did have another one:

It's not their fault. The basket was too small. Metric system, you know?

:D
