keep in mind everyone that the chad ford rumor stated that WE were pursuing the deal and they were the ones that weren't biting.
From Amick:
I just got off the phone with Andres Nocioni. He came off as a very affable guy, which is exactly what Bulls beat writer KC Johnson of the Chicago Tribune told me to expect. In short, he says he's packing in Chicago and waiting for his flight directions from the Kings. There has been some question from folks around the league as to whether the Kings would move Nocioni before today's deadline, but it's looking like he's here to stay. Things can always change and sources around the league say quite a few teams have interest - and, yes, that includes Boston (a comment below alluded to it) - but the Kings seem to really like what he can add.

boozer, sessions pretty much. What are the top FA's this summer that we can go after. I know the class of 2009 isn't anywhere near what 2010 will be, but we must have a shot a getting one of the top FA's this off season.
Yeah, I'm hoping it's just the party line to boost his value, and Sam has certainly been spoonfed some serious BS in the last 24 hours (i.e. the rumored New Jersey trade)
The Kings...where unbelievable happens
What makes you think that was BS? He reported it again this morning - that the Bulls deal was held up because New Jersey made a significant play at Miller/Salmons while we were in the middle of finalizing.
Making moves in itself shouldn't impress anyone. The Miller/Salmons deal does nothing except save a few dollars for the Maloofs.
I think it's funny he's getting credit for "not threatening our pick". He's not supposed to, have we got to the stage where we're glad he doesn't screw up?
Anyway, it will take more than trading for no reason to impress me. He has no forseight. The fact that he likes what the 29 y/o on a terrible contract will do for us is testimony to that (who BTW, is occupying a space on front of Greene and possibly Thompson).
I thought on a newly acquired player that we could only do a 1 vs. 1 trade not one guy for a bunch of players.

He can be traded for multiple players, just can't be combined with more Kings players. We can send him somewhere, but him alone.
Running out of time now.
I would love to get Leon Powe too.I would LOVE to somehow get back Leon Powe. Maybe the Celtics would trade Powe instead of Glen Davis.
I have seen Nocioni's game and it reminds me of Rodman . Either way, he is still learning the game, being from europe has and will hurt his performance on the court, and because of this, he is by nature overpayed. If he matures equally opposite to the way Peja matured in sacramento, the trade for him will be worth John Salmons. I just don't like where he thinks he should play in the NBA, I think he's a PF.
