Niners!

At this point, when it's obvious to everyone he's only going in to get a little NFL experience, I'm okay with it. There's no pressure for him to try and win, etc. I just pray he doesn't get broken...

;)

It's not about Rattay or Barlow, it's about the offensive line which can't run block or pass protect all that well. Offense has a LONG way to go.

The good news; other than week 5 against the Colts, it probably won't get any worse than today.

...of course, looking again at the schedule, it looks like a 5-11 year.:(

I've just figured out how we can turn this franchise around.

1. We tank the season and get the first pick again.
2. We draft matt leinart.
3. We trade alex smith(since he is a #1 overall pick) to the team with the 2nd pick for their 2nd pick. Only works if that team needs a qb.
4. We draft reggie bush.

Walla! We have our offense set for years to come.

What do u guys think?
Lol, see what a frustrating loss does.
It would be interesting though, u gotta give me that.

lol.... its only one game.... lets take it one game at a time.... if by like week 7 we are 1-5.... than its time to tank the season

Yeah I know filmoe. But as much as I would love to get leinart and bush, watching another horrible season for that to come true would be horrible to watch.

42-3!!! That's just ugly!:( I thought we'd do better than that. Glad I missed this one. There's always next week. Did we do anything right?

No one tripped on their way out of the tunnel.

I expected ups and downs with a new coach and new guys learning new positions and systems and everything, but I didn't quite expect games like this. Now is the time to really see what these guys (coaches and players both). Lets see if they can rebound and put together a decent performance against a pretty good team in Dallas.

This was the Eagles, with a motivated Terrell Owens, an energized Donovan McNabb and a lineman doing the kicking...

The 49ers are not going to miraculously start doing well against the really good teams until and unless they can develop an effective offensive line. Until that time, Rattay or Smith or Bozo the One-Legged Monkey is going to struggle whenever they have to play against a team with a cohesive defense.

The Niners are a work in progress; they have to learn to walk before they can run. Rebuilding them into the team we'll be able to see with a better than .500 record is probably still a couple of years away...

I actually thought Bozo played pretty well today. :p

You just have to wonder how long Rumph had been waiting for that moment, don't you?

;)

yah its too bad that after that hit he got burnt on that undercut......... :(

my niners are winning! BLLOYD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 14-6....... yall see cortez and allen fighting? HAHAHAHAH

Why spike the ball with 18 secs left?

Rattay, good game, but still has to make the bonehead mistakes. Better not cost us.

He's not perfect, but u gotta use common sense.

Cowboys got no respect for our D and it cost them big.

Lets go niners. Take advantage.

And I suppose you could do better? Sorry, but you always seem to be the first to be down on someone. It's a game - consisting of 4 quarters. No one is going to be perfect. All in all, Rattay has done a pretty darn good job. Do you comment about that? Nope. You just rag on him.

Another broken play cost us. Hold them for a field goal and were straight.

You know what, I'm not even gonna comment on that.
