NFL: Discussion of various games

First game started off good for me in both leagues... and WOW 19 points for thor having Heath.

In another league I dropped Heath after the draft. LOL mistake #1
Health Miller should have never had that touchdown. He was clearly out of bounds. Man, I wish Saban could have thrown that stupid red flag a little bit sooner than he did. You could tell he was clearly being tentitive in throwing it.

In my $$ league, the guy that I'm playing against has Health Miller. I am really upset with Nick Saban. Man, he's an idiot. But then again, looking at the reply, clearly shows the ref right there. Why didn't he call it?

Exactly, on a questionable play, where the players are making visible arguments, how can there not be a referee watching for it?

I wouldnt call Saban an idiot, he threw the flag.

Actually, he is an idiot. In the replay, you could clearly see Nick Saban being very tentative. Instead of taking his time in throwing the flag, if he really wanted to challenge the play, he could have went on the field and got the refs attention, providing if he really wanted to. However, it didn't look like he did.

NOTE: I've moved these posts out of the thread dedicated to the Bigdog NFL Fantasy league.

Saban is not an idiot, prolly one of the better coaches. You should blame the dolphins booth who should have gave the decision earlier. Saban was waiting for the booth to tell him whether or not to challenge the play.

You have your opinion and I have mine. And what I saw on that replay showed me that Saban didn't know if he really wanted to challenge that play or not. He was being wishy-washy. If you truly wanted to challenge the play, he actually could have done something about it, instead he was very tentative.

I'm sure we all can discuss more than just Saban. So, who here thinks New England will win the Superbowl? :)
