Mac Jones is not a good QB but he had about a dozen good games under Josh McDaniel. But he really got exposed vs. the Bills, first in a game they won where he literally was not allowed to throw the ball and then in a playoff rout. Josh left and BB brought in Matt Patricia for some unknown reason as OC and the dude lost everything. It makes perfect sense to me that a Shanahan can squeeze juice from that lemon.
