IMHO, "might have saved the Cowboys season" might be putting it very nicely at this point and also might be giving Jerry the benefit of the doubt. They haven't shown me enough to convince me that they're going to do anything substantial this year, or next year, or the year after.

49ers say Purdy has chance to return vs. Cards
49ers quarterback Brock Purdy could return this week against the Cardinals after missing last Sunday's victory over the Saints because of a toe injury.
I wouldn't risk inflaming injury recovery.....let Big Mac fry......

49ers to start Jones at QB in place of ailing Purdy
Barring a significant last-minute change, the San Francisco 49ers will start Mac Jones at quarterback for a second consecutive week Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
Sounds like an emergency QB #3 for Purdy
I didn't see any real pass rush skills when watching his college tape and questioned why they took him in the first round but I'll take it if he can become a top notch run defender. He looked great against the rush last week.
Was hoping the 49ers might ship off some picks for Hendrickson, but the rumor was Cowboys
