Hall of Famer
Ooof… I was ready to pitch a fit for no unnecessary roughness, but looked like Herbert landed on dude’s helmet when he went down.

Comparing Lance to Herbert right now is just setting yourself up for disappointment. Right now the only comparison that matters is Jim. And they both lost bad games in monsoons, so… hopefully it gets better than that!
Disagree Herbert was close to as good his first year....I dont think Lance is his level and won't be - doesn't have the reads or composure especially....I havent seen Lance throw a ball that pinpoint at the end in any game yet. - a 35 yarder on a 1-ft window in good coverage at full stride. Best throw of either QB all night. Chargers were short ended on calls but their offensive coordinator deserves a large chunk of blame - didn't run the ball enough. Their O-Line started well but was beaten too much 2nd half. Their offense lost them the game with a 14 pt swing at goal on 1st and goal and they should've been running the ball to get closer. Herbert did well but has had better games. Wonder if they gave him a shot in the ribs - maybe his ribs weren't injured. Of course missing Keenan Allen hurt, I think that was a playoff preview.

Tua leads a really quick good drive on offense only to completely torpedo it by trying to force a throw to Tyreek Hill in double coverage that is picked off the ricochet. I guess it’s not just a Jimmy thing.
