Yeah luckily they haven't had a season turning injury like Bosa or Jimmy G getting hurt (sorry SLAB) for a significant amount of time but they've had enough injuries to weaken both sides of the ball at different times during the season but that's probably the case with most teams. I thought the LB play yesterday was pretty solid when you looked at who was out there but Thomas was obviously the weak link in the secondary. If Moseley is out there, he's at least shutting down 1 or 2 of those shots.

Thursday should be interesting. The Niners are kind of a more balanced version of the Titans. Jimmy has been much better than Tannehill this year but both teams are extremely reliant on the running game with the Titans being elite at it when Henry is healthy. Shut it down and it's a roll of the dice if the QB can beat you or not. I like the Niners chances if both teams concentrate on stopping the run and leave it up to the QBs.

Mosley is not quite a a shutdown corner but at least solid. Teams will eat Thomas alive. Garappolo is not close to Tannehill, who has legit scrambling ablity and much better poise in the pocket. Statitically he may have be having a bit better season, but that's because Garappolo receiving core intact. Believe Titans may be missing 1 or 2 starting receivers also. Tannehill is is in the top 10 QBs in the league, maybe 7 or 8. Garrapolo is maybe mid-late teens. The Titans have quite a bit of injuries - Henry is better than any 1 player on the 49ers imo including Mostert or Bosa. He has sneaky fast speed....he may run a 4.6 -- 40 but probably would run in the mid-low 10s on a 100m His breakaway speed is undeniable. Titans looked like the best team in the league for early-mid season for several games - like weeks 4-7 or so, but they've fallen back fairly badly. 49ers have looked like a mid-pack team that is feasting on some bad teams. I don't expect the 49ers to win, although its possible. Cant find the game anywhere but NFL NT on Thurs...any other station carry? Like Amazon Prime streaming?

I actually think this Niners team is built more for the playoffs than the regular season. They need to get healthy and stay healthy at the right time but having Kittle, Deebo/Aiyuk and an effective run game makes them a first down generating machine on offense and the front seven starters on defense are as formidable as the front seven was when they made it to the Super Bowl and looked good for three quarters of it too. The secondary is really the only thing you can point to as a potentially season ending liability and even that is somewhat mitigated by Bosa being a monster on pass rush. As long as they can generate enough pocket pressure to eliminate big plays down the field I think this is a team nobody wants to face in the playoffs.

Tannehill was better the last 2 seasons but look at his numbers this season. He's been one of the worst starting QBs in the league.

Henry is one of my favorite players. I remember watching him during his first preseason thinking this dude is going to be a beast and was surprised it took him a while to get it going in the league.

I'm not sure where else you can watch it. I usually use the type of sites that we aren't allowed to post on here. That's how I've been watching the Kings all year since Dish dropped NBC sports bay area.

STFU, Niners Twitter. Quit pretending you didn’t trade three firsts just to pick his replacement.

They fd up badly with that.....the likely playoff berth has muted it this year (and is in spite of it), but the main effect starts next season when they can't pick up a DB or any player in the 1st round AND 3rd round. On top of that the Lance pick really hasn't looked worth the extra draft capital going forward. So the effect is 2-fold -> one a possible "pop-fly" swinging for the fences with the pick itself, and two, those lack of personnel to fill-in problem positions like DB, OL, and perhaps LB. To think more Garrapolo is in store next year isn't exactly exciting, but the sad thing (for me) is the prospect of Lance is only slightly more exciting anyway. Lance didn't look ready to process NFL defenses - imo his talent level is and will be comparable to Fields who was picked 12th. Fields has looked poor albeit surrounded by a much worse receiving core, run-game, and coaching. It would be sad to think the 49ers have the exact same problem with QB in the future after 3 essentially wasted picks, following next season Put another way, Lance was a project to begin with and should've been treated as such in the draft - meaning you don't trade 3 extra high-round picks for a project - 1 maybe; 3 high picks are for the sure/slam-dunk player. There were 4 pro-bowlers from the draft 1 through13 this season. The Pitts pick was a scratch with Kittles, but to think the 49ers pick didn't contribute meaningfully to this season isn't compelling. You might say the season isn't over yet and that's true.

Well, they just had to get Dion Lewis the rock for 2 years. Totally understandable

This is exactly the kind of game you'll see the 49ers produce in the wildcard...pathetic...they should have punted last series...but gave titans another short field

It would be very on brand for Jim to be clutch here and make everyone forget how terrible he’s been all game long.
