Eagles QB looked like dog-poo in the playoffs - bad (not the Michael Jackson adj). I don't know about Hurts - another QB who needs to improve his decision-making and processing..

he has one year to figure it out. I won’t rule him out after 18 starts considering the other things he brings to the table

Jack Jones got picked in the 4th? Dude was a top 5 national recruit, but got kicked out of usc for robbery. Ugh.

Well looks like th 49ers are going with Garrapolo at backup- he knows the system, and no team want his expensive contract even for 1 year......saw Nick Foles was released - mightve been a good backup option off the waiver. (if they'd traded Ken-doll).

Still zero chance. Such a massive distraction that can’t be had hanging over Trey’s head. Cut when passes physical.

Garoppolo has a $26.95 million cap hit for 2022, but the team would save $25.55 million by either trading or releasing the player, per Spotrac. -- from another article......

So how does that work - the $25M they owe him, but doesn't count against the cap? Of they release him, they "only" owe him $1.4M and can apply the other money to another FA etc?

Believe it comes down to what is guaranteed.

Much improved. And the UCLA kid as well seems to be liked by a bunch of people too.

We'll see.....Verrett was good but once again injured - his usual problem - can't stay healthy....only Moseley has been really consistent, and he's been injured too some. They need another player to step up badly. Thomas did not look consistent at all. DB is their defensive problem area and has been since their SB year. Hopefully Ward asserts himself and earns his inflated salary - at his salary he better be at least at Moseley's level or better.

He's honest. Gotta respect that.

I mean, Montana didn't mentor Young. Rodgers kinda hates everyone. Some are able to mentor, some aren't. Tannehill def is not the mentor type. Lolzzzz

Difference being Montana and Rodgers had/have the talent to do whatever they wanted. A guy like Tannehill acting above it? Lol

Also the Niners traded for Young several years and one foray into another football league into his career so he was at a different point in his career than guys like Love, Lance, and Willis were.
