Dude has quietly become one of the biggest boosters (money, time, and recruiting) of UCLA Football. Was AWOL for a while, but Neuheisal brought him back to the program a few years ago.

The more you look a the teams who need QB's the more it looks to me that there are very few spots jimmy could actually go to. Jimmy will not fancy himself a back up. IMO, if the niners require higher than a 3rd round pick i don't think there will be any takers. And keeping him on the team so they can get back a compensatory 3rd round after next season is a non starter. If jimmy is on the team next season he will be the starter and that would be a massive fail for the 49ers. They gave up way too much for lance to end up sitting out his first 2 years.
