Bill Walton designed some killer tye-dye uni's for them. Complete with Nag Champa scents woven into the fabric.

Just because the kings organization is focusing on some unis, doesn't at all mean their focus is away from the team. Sure its a money thing, but can u blame them? Which team doesn't do that?
At this point in time, with fan dissatisfaction rising and a real question about whether an arena can actually get built before the team is made an offer they cannot refuse by some place like Kansas City, I would much prefer the Kings organization to be looking at things OTHER than a new alternate uniform, especially if it's in a color different than anything they've had before. It's like saying, "Look at the pretty bauble." Sorry, you may be excited - and that's fine for you. I'm not going to be diverted by bright shiny objects or new alternate uniforms. There are key questions that need to be addressed.

New alternate uniforms are created for one reason and one reason only...to get fans to part with MORE of their hard-earned money. Well, damn it, I'm just about to the point where I'm not gonna part with ANY more of MY hard-earned money unless and until I know what's going on with my beloved Kings.
Ticket prices are going up - again. I fully expect refreshment prices to be higher. I strongly resent the hype and teaser about the new alternate uniforms, when - for all we know - the jersey we lay down our money for might belong to a FORMER King before the season is out.
As I said, I'm not going to get excited about new alternate uniforms. If the Maloofs wanted to do something for the fans - and rely on fan feedback - they could have conducted a poll on kings.com to find out what the fans would like. They didn't. They're going to give us what they think they want. Well, that's fine if they're making a decision about what players they're going to keep and who they're going to trade. It is their team, after all. AFAIC, however, they are NOT going to decide for me what I choose to buy and wear to honor my favorite players, especially if there's a chance those players won't be around long enough to even get the jersey dirty.

oh man, if those are the alternate's he was talking about then i can only think of the jokes made about us...first we were the "queens" and now were the team with the pink jerseys...we'll never hear the end of it
