When the Kings offense is right, it's the best in the NBA. Our defense "playing well" is being average.

Not sure how anyone could look at this game and say "Yeah, if we had more offense, we'd be alright. NVM the fact we've allowed 49 points in 15 minutes"
Well apparently Monte is. so....

The Kings win on offense. The stats back it up. Is what it is.

It's the little things that he doesn't do compared to Len ... I didn't see 1 hard screen by him in the whole 3 minutes, he's slow going up and down the court and not intentional w/ his movements to set screens. For this Kings offense, the big being able to screen is critical to so much offensively. Partly cause he's just older, but McGee doesn't have the girth/physicality Len has. Guys bounce off Len; McGee can jump higher than Len but his speed, explosiveness, agility is no longer an advantage for him. It's a bit comical at this point.
Len is also a much better passer and hand off guy

I don’t normally complain about refs but the last few games I feel every time we defend at the rim it’s a foul and everytime we drive it’s a clean block or no foul. Maybe they are all correct calls but seems unlikely

The Kings only win on offense. That's the problem. Have to be able to tap other parts of a team game, if Fox struggles like this, if the shooting isn't up to snuff, etc.

Zach LaVine does nothing to improve out outcome of winning this exact game. Alex Caruso would.

Really? So Caruso is going to turn the Kings into a defensive juggernaut by himself? Davion is no slouch on defense just so you know. Picking up talent is a way to build a defensive core without sacrificing offense. Otherwise you do things like start KZ Okpala and realize there's a talent gap.

Multiple possessions with Fox and Monk not shooting or touching the ball is unacceptable. At some point, this defense has to change as well. What in the world is this scheme that continues to give up wide open threes? Let's try something different please

They're a better team with Keon Ellis playing. Just need to find a deal for Mitchell
