I stop watching pretty much after the 1st quarter. The Kings just don't have it. This Pelicans are a constant reminder that the Kings just don't have the size and length to hang with them. IT IS TIME TO MAKE TRADES!!!

Time to remove Barnes (lack of size and disrupt anybody on defense), let alone help on team defense.
Time to remove Huerter is a constant struggle.
Time to remove Mitchell who is reduced to nothing but standing and watch
Time to remove Vezenkov who hasn't proved he can play physical basketball
The entire roster can’t be physical, that’s just not realistic. Trading nearly half of the roster doesn’t seem necessary, as if we’re 9 games below .500 or something. We gotta relax

I'm fine if monte don't do anything until maybe this summer if he sees nothing he likes this trade deadline. Patience is key if he don't see anything. It's better than making a brash move that he'll eventually regret that could set the kings back for years.

I don’t either. One game doesn’t equate to a 7 game losing streak or something in the standings, guys. I know we all remember what it was like to root for a poor team, but this isn’t one of them.
Or this game just marks the one and a half season hot streak coming to an end!

From the talks of what Monte is looking to deal that isn't going to happen. Barnes, Huerter, and Davion are the pieces. As for picks, I'm sure he's not dumping off the next decade for a non-impact player. Monte is also relegated to what's available. He wanted OG, tried for Siakam, so far empty. Now we see if he pivots.

Yup. This season and last season, if you ask me. I truly think this game ends up looking a BIT different starting at 7PM vs 3, but there’s no excuse for this garbage and I’m glad the fans are booing. The good news is that it’s just one game and we still have a shot to make this look somewhat respectable, whilst being 7 games over .500 when it ends. Gotta move on
Both teams started at the same time and the other is without there all star

Len sets great screens
That foot speed or lack thereof on defense is tough to see, though. I know bigs don’t grow on trees, but, Monte’s gonna have to get creative pretty soon. I know we need another wing to help Keegan, but Sabonis needs help up front. His defense and effort are much improved this season, but it’s hard to see that when he has to recover everywhere else to make up for our poor perimeter defense.

I see at least 6 teams who are capable of finishing with a better record. Nuggets, Clippers, Suns, Wolves, Pelicans, Thunder

I’m talking about West coast California teams historically struggling with early games though. This isn’t a new concept and i think there’s something to it, I’m not saying it’s the sole reason for the loss - I’m well aware both teams have started the game at the same time.

They aren’t all better than the Kings though. Of course they’re “capable”, the Kings are capable of being a top 4 seed as well. That’s the difference between the Kings and teams in the eastern conference that have the luxury of playing the Pistons 4 times a year. The west is tough and the Kings are about to be 7 games over .500 because they’re a good team. Period.

3-19 for 9 points from Fox/Murray was going to be tough to overcome. Then when you have CJ and the whole team hitting 3s like they did you have a blow out

That's why they play the games. Have to produce

Yea also I don't think monte has much to work with in terms of draft capitral for trade since they still owe the hawks a pick which should relinquish after this year's draft. After that it should be off the books which will allow monte more flexibility in terms of trading draft picks.

Murray will be up and down this year, part of being a 2nd year player. He will continue to grow his game

West is tough, I would be estatic if we can make it to the 2nd round, prob not currently constructed though

Monte will be patient and trade smart, on the other hand teams like the Wolves/OKC can be a trade away of seperating themselves from us now and in the future

Very true, but i also wouldn’t go off of what the talk is. Monte doesn’t leak anything, similar to the days of Petrie. If they do make a move or two, i don’t think it’ll be quite as predictable as some may be anticipating. But like you said, i also don’t think it’s gonna be some crazy big swing that has the potential to set us back.
