New Leader

The eyes will be on him, but nobody is going to follow a milksop who spent most of the season pouting.

Looks like someone is pouting here as well. If you really like this team as much as you say you do then start supporting the team we have on hand. This is a challenge to everyone.

as a leader? you've got to be joking. i wouldnt pick peja to lead a girl-scout troupe. he's not aggressive enough or vocal enough. mike and the cat are gonna have to step up, and i believe they will.

Agree completely.

Big Ben is the leader. He's the face of the team.
"Face of the team" and leader are two very different teams. Peja is now the "face of the team" without a doubt.
I agree that Mike, as the PG who will have the ball in his hands now more than ever, has to be the on-court leader. But going with the Pistons thing - who was the guy that changed their attitude, their vision - no, not Rasheed - Larry Brown.
Adelman has to step up. Now, the Kings have no excuse to not rebound and play D. If Peja isn't pulling down rebounds - bench him. If Miller's throwing a hissy fit - get in his face and calm his butt down. When Bibby doesn't play D - bench him too. Adelman needs to convince this team that they're still looking to win a title and that there are no more excuses to be a poor defensive and rebounding team. That's not his style - but we don't have Vlade and DC on the floor anymore. This team will need more agressive coaching.

I agree...it's going to be a team thing.

But if I had to choose a player who will lead the teams to victories, etc. IMO, Bibby. But to me, it always have been Bibby. :)
