Maybe that explains why the court has been all scuffed up all preseason? Anyone else notice that?

Yeah. No point in fixing up the old if a new one is to be used. And I wonder if they are going to have it covered and then "unveil" it or ??? I am excited to go to opening night and see all the changes they have been working on.
 
Wow.. that's pretty nice! I was actually kind of hoping for the King's font that we have on our black jerseys, but after seeing this I'm very pleased
 
Also... can anyone explain exactly how the court looked this preseason? I was only able to watch through online streams and didnt notice any difference. I keep hearing how terrible the court looked
 
yeah they are using same old court in the preseason. i expect the new one will be unveiled next wednesday

It looked like they weren't buffing it or whatever they do to give the court it's polished shine. In the lane is where you could really see all kinds of shoe scuff marks.

It's just that there have been tons of white shoe marks on it, like somebody's kicks were rubbing off every time they made a move in the paint. I thought it was curious that they didn't buff it off, but if they've got a new floor altogether, then why bother?
 
I absolutely love this. This is the logo that should have always been in center court. My main gripe is that the colors they used seem so strange? Why didn't they just use the generic colors of the normal logo? I hate this weird filter they put on it.

Yah I had noticed that too and figured they were going to have a new floor for the new season. Like the logo!
 
Looks really nice. hopefully the free throw line and paint have been changed. Here's for hoping no more college lines at the free throw line!
 
I feel like this almost is almost a guarantee of new uniforms soon. Doing away with the current type set that's on the Away unis, definitely looking towards a signal of change

My best guess is that we'll see new uniforms next year. You have to get them approved a year in advance and there wasn't time for this season. Of course, they may wait until the new arena for a whole new effect. :)

They've done more work to improve arena venue appearance than the Maloofs did their entire tenure. Can anyone confirm if the picture of Shareef/random player from bad 2005-2010 years is still up?
 
VF21: Not fond of the gold lame, but the maybe the worst unis I've ever seen was those shiny silver unis the Mavericks had. They looked like cheap Mylar. Those were desperately horrible.
