Need a good place to get an oil change

I need to take my car in to get an oil change this weekend, and I don’t have the time to wait for hours at the usual place I go to, which is Firestone. However, I am very reluctant to try another place because I am afraid of getting ripped off with the place harming my car or something else. I’ve just heard too many horror stories from friends who have had oil change places mess them over on something, and I’ve experienced my own problems at places in the past, too. Sooo does anyone know of a decent, fast, oil change place in the Arden Arcade/Carmichael area that I can try?

I love Mel Rapton Honda but I don't know if they work Sundays. In fact I just got back from there.

Carmichael Honda is good. They are on Auburn Blvd near Greenback.

My garge, no waiting no charge for labor if you bring me a cup of coffee... the drive might not be worth it though!

I usually take mine to Walmart for oil changes. They don't do any other kind of auto work, so there's no incentive for them to "discover" new and expensive mechanical problems. I've never had a problem with them, however I have heard stories about screw-ups due to some of their employees aren't exactly rocket scientists.

Some of you may disagree - but, I have very POSITIVE results from either Midas or Jiffy Lube ... (I know people that work at the one's that I go to).

As a matter of fact, I prefer Midas over Jiffy Lube ... I have them work on my brakes as well.

LOL. Thanks for the offer, but driving out to Fresno would mean that I would have one very, very expensive oil change.

Is there usually a long wait?
