It was never true and barring serious injury to Morant never will be.
It was never true though that’s the funny part, Ja has been ahead of Fox since the get go but fox had a couple good games vs him. But Ja was better than fox was as a rookie and everyone knew it

Once the Grizzlies became a brick-factory late 1st quarter on, the writing was on the wall. Plain as day........Grizzlies needed this game and didn't show up past the 1st quarter. They need more than Morant,, and if Poole, Porter, and Higgins all have decent games like tonight with Curry, it's gonna be a tall-order for the series to go past 5. Poole in particular was going bonkers to turn the tide of the game early.

Hats off to Kuminga who became the youngest player to start a playoff game since ‘71 if I saw correctly on the screen. Dropped 18 points on 8-10 shooting. It’s amazing that the Warriors are positioned to transition to their next core with Poole and Kuminga (maybe Moody and Wiseman too) while competing for a championship.

This is the dumbest game.
I didn't see every foul today but the refs took CP3 out of the game early today and that helped.
