Nah, that’s not what happened. He swiped out of frustration. I really don’t know how you can argue against that with a straight face.
Again, the excessive wind up is the compelling factor. There’s no legitimate defense to be made for it. That part wasn’t a “play on the ball”.
He didn’t poke at the ball. Or even swipe at the ball in a conventional sense. He added a full wind up. That’s not basketball no matter how you try to spin it.
Lastly your point about a fist, elbow or forearm not striking Payne is very bad one. It’s the intent that counts. If a player goes full Shaq haymaker on Brad Miller but misses, does it matter? No. It’s the intent that matters.
Gobert can say whatever he wants after the fact. Video evidence clearly shows a frustrated player taking a full wind up to then swipe at the ball.
That’s what the NBA saw and why he received a flagrant 2. That’s what I saw and what a lot of others did too. The video doesn’t lie.
As I stated before, Gobert may not have intended to strike Cameron Payne, but he did. Due to a reckless swipe at the ball. The wind up was not necessary to execute that move.
If you’re arguing otherwise you just haven’t a leg to stand on.
After shooting 43.8% from three for the season, Nate trusts him. That's why he played him 42 minutes. Notable is that both his overall shooting percentage and 3pt shooting percentage this game was better than the team overall even though he shot poorly to end the game.
Doesn’t matter what you say, Bogi stans are on going to defend him til the end. That’s their guy.Didn't say anything about his season - I said he nearly cost them the game bricking a ton of wide open shots when the game was very close near the end. Also, 0 assists and 24 shots!

You could also argue that if he did not hit his shots for 22 points before the cold spell at the end they would not be in the position for him to cost them the game.
Jazz also probably still missing Conley and Mitchell’s got a bum ankle. This series is a war of attrition. So Clippers - no Leonard, Suns - No Paul,
here is your chance Jazz
No lies were told by Mac. 9-24 and 0 assists are accurate. And the haters will attack him. That's how internet works.
You can't possibly believe that whether or not someone is a "hater" is about facts, can you?No lies were told by Mac. 9-24 and 0 assists are accurate.

Factually true, but not typically relevant to discussions about choking/how a guy ends a game when the game is on the line with a few minutes to spare. Again, he shot 9-24 overall, it's not like he only screwed up 1-2 shots at the end.
You misunderstand. Posting that Bogi had a bad game doesn’t make him a hater.which were the lies told by me?

Really hard to believe that Morey wasn’t willing to trade him for HardenSixers with the epic choke act. Regardless of the outcome of this series, Simmons needs to go if Philly is serious about contention.

It's kind of Rivers' speciality.
even before Doc came aboard, this Philly team year in and year out underperforms in the Postseason
