I just started a NBA Playoff Tourney (similar to an NCAA pool) at my work and thought I'd share them. Anyone is welcome to submit their own picks or to critique mine.

Actually, I had my picks all typed out in an easy to read "bracket style" format, it looked good until the processer messed it up as soon as a I posted it. As much as I'd like pick with my heart and have the Kings go all the way, my head just won't let me do it. This is one of the first years where I have honestly picked with my head. The reason I picked them to beat the Sonics is because I fully expect it to happen. The Sonics are inexperienced, have just as many injuries, and have been playing poorly of late. I expect some close games with Bibby being the difference in the end. As for a round 2 matchup with the Spurs, as Brick said, the Kings just don't have the rebounding, defense, and post play to do it.

I guarantee the Suns don't even make it to the Finals. They are fools' gold. Defense wins championships, not high powered, shoot the lights out offense. The Spurs are the best team in the league, they have the total package. Just look at how they're taking care of business with the Nuggs (a highly popular sleeper pick).
