[NBA] Comments that Don't Warrant Their Own Thread (February)

oh please, you know very well what I mean. the allstar game typically has all the stars hog the ball, just try to show off, etc. in the first half they were moving the ball, finding guys ,passing on the break - and all this without proper fixed plays being run. our guys, with coaching, don't even move the ball like that. it has nothing to do with the quality of players. I was merely pointing out that somewhat of a pickup game had more ball movement than our team displays on a regular basis.

I just think that it has everything to do with the quality of the players, as well as the exhibitionist nature of the game. And it seems like you're taking some ball movement by All Stars in a game with zero defense a little too seriously.

Alright no problem, to each his own.

maybe that means atl is trying to start over, with the horford big contract i heard they might part ways with josh smith

What? They just solidified themselves for the playoffs even further with this move. Bibby has been done since about 3 years ago and they just traded for one of the more underrated PGs out there. Their only position of weakness now is at the 5 spot. Horford really belongs at PF.

I love all the activity around the league though. Hopefully it ends up with us getting a bigger name than Thornton.

Portland choked against the Lakers. Held scoreless the final four minutes of regulation, then lose in OT. I think they were up 7 (mighta just been 5) with less than a minute to play.

...Sigh. Oh well, at least The Kings won tonight.

Bosh tonight against the Bulls...1-18 from the field. A lot of those missed shots were open looks too.

I believe Bosh debacle was third worst shooting performance in NBA history. Tim Hardaway was 0-17 in a 1991 game that his team won.

Hah! The Bosh flop is hilarious. I love how he was writhing in "pain" on the floor for a good 15 seconds after the "hit". The NBA should review those and fine such a flagrant flop, IMHO. Otherwise look for some tit-for-tat with the refs no calling any offensive fouls against Bosh the next few games...
