[NBA] Comments that Don't Warrant Their Own Thread (December)

I'm just saying. You can't question an 11 game win streak while their average margin of victory is around 20 pts a game.

I have to say, this sure has been one hell of a sophomore slump, and I don't mean just for Tyreke. Steph Curry has been injured with ankle problems, Tyreke with plantar fasciitis and now Brandon Jennings is out 4-6 weeks. Ouch!

The Mavs are truly the real streakbusters. Bravo Dallas, bravo! Spurs keep winning too, wow do they ever lose? Apparently not.

The Spurs dominance is tripping me out.

That roster is pretty much Parker, Manu, and a busted Duncan (his numbers are way down across the board. Dudes only averaging 14ppg this season), and yet they only have 3 losses! Shows what vets + great coaching can do.

Have they played any elite teams yet?

Larry Brown steps down from the Bobcats

Larry Brown is now 70. I wonder if he gets itch to coach again which after every "last job" he always does. This time maybe not since he mainly took postion in Charlotte because his 90+ year old mother lives there and GM Michael Jordan really wanted him badly to be his coach.

A coaching change isn't going to help that awful Charlotte team. That team has to be the least talented team in the league and it does not help that they have the worst GM in the league in Jordan. I'd rather be in our situation 100/100 than theirs. I have to admit, when I first saw Larry Brown "stepped" down I assumed he just quit on the team, but I am assuming that they came to a mutual agreement.

Just watching the Spurs vs Magic game, and i must say the Orlando alternate away black jerseys look pretty sick. I know jerseys are the least of our problems right now but damn i wish we could get an alternate black.

Orlando's alternate jerseys are something beautiful to look at for sure. They along with the Nuggets have the best jerseys, IMO.

PS; Spurs finally lost! I expected more of a competitive game, but too much Orlando offense in this one. Spurs vs Lakers should be a very fun game to watch.

I'm starting to think that Charles Barkley has some sort of hate for the Kings because as I've been watching Inside the NBA, he twice mentions the word "Sacramento" in examples by "it's not like their playing Sacramento or something" and another part about the Bucks/Kings game.

He's been like that for years, even when we were making the playoffs and stuff. Maybe he owes the Maloofs some money or something.

I remember when we first got Artest they played a game on TNT, and Barkley said something along the lines of "man, why we playin a Kings game? Do they even have cable in Sacramento?". I remember shouting at my TV "screw you fatso". He bugs the hell outta me.

Whatever his beef is with us, he just needs to let it go. He just continues to kick us while were down, that's easy to do.

Barkley has hated on Sacramento bigtime since at least 1986. At old Confetti nightclub with his vodka OJ or whatever it was in his hand after a Philly game he would complain it was the only club worth going to in town. Unfortunatley, he was right but took it further by stating at some point (maybe when he was with Phoenix or Houston) that Sactown was a cowtown with worst nightlife of any NBA city. He has at times since retiring had a few nice words uttered about "his friend" Reggie Theus or a couple other players or coaches he liked here - but as far as the city itself - nada.

Watching LeBron slap around the Lakers has become a Christmas tradition for me! That game was hilarious.

Mavs just keep rolling and beating all these playoff teams away from home. They are playing at an amazing level, it's unfortunate Dirk got hurt. Let's hope it's not too serious, knowing Dirk, he will be back playing next game.

Poetic justice?

Eh, thats cold...Dirk didnt **** up C-Webb's knee. Plus Dirk just sprained his. Terrible stuff only happens to us (and Portland).

Here's a couple silly statlines worthy of this thread: Phoenix vs Philly

Hawes: 10/11/3 (in just 26 minutes)
Noc: 22/12/2 (lolz!)

I'm still glad both those guys are gone, but its funny that they had great games tonight.

Miami Heat 10 game road winning streak. D Wade with back to back 40+ point games, has the great almighy Flash returned? I'd say so. That guy is just unreal, man oh man.

Heat are pretty beastie....

..It makes me laugh how many shot attempts the Superfriends get vs the rest of the roster though. It seems like its around 50 between Wade and Lebron, 15 or so for Bosh, and then 15 for the other 12 guys on the roster.

But hey, whatever works!
