Meanwhile, Atlanta puts nine players in double-figures (and Maurice Evans had nine), as they blow the doors off the Raptors, to drop them to 7-13. And they're the second-best team in that division; Boston might have that *** sewed up by Christmas!

All the more reason the Raps need to send Bosh to us while they still can. :p

I heard that Peja missed last few games because of his daughter illness. Anybody knows what's going on? Is she ok?

So Stern says that a woman will play in the NBA within the next 10 years - up on fanball.com, no actual article I've found as of yet. Sources are citing the less physical play than in years past tolerated by the leauge. Thoughts...?

Stern's crazy and this can't end well.

Well that's a nice goal and all, but I would almost say impossible. At least on merit. Completely impossible for any female bigs. Even any of the forwards. So it would have to be a guard. A very big guard by female basketball standards, who would still be small and weak by NBA standards. And there are numerous male players not in the NBA who would just tear things up in women's ball.

I would have to see the real quote, even if it exists. You would thin it would be picked up by something more than obscure internet site #214 if Stern actually said that.

So we don't know what Stern really said... and even if he did say it, maybe he meant in a gimmicky, Michelle-Wie-8000-guys-should-be-here-instead-but-she-might-bring-ratings kinda way... :)

So, the Nets are hosting the Bobcats tonight, still in search of their first win. Marv and the Czar have the call on the Nets broadcast, and Albert points out how the Bobcats happen to be the very last team that lost to the Nets, so it seems as though their hoping for some sort of harmony here tonight.

As a part-time Bobcats fan, I'm hoping that doesn't happen... Can you imagine what it's going to be like for the fanbase of whatever team gives New Jersey their first win?

At what point would we be justified in saying that Devin Harris=All-Star would not have happened without Vince Carter? Is he still injured?

Hey, an otherwise forgotten about team gets to have its name forever in the record books, what's the problem? ;)

Let me just say to those who are dissatisfied with the basketball IQ of Donte Greene: be glad we don't have Josh Boone.

New Jersey's up 4 with less than 5 minutes to go. Could it be?

And in related news, when did Gerald Wallace become Wilt Chamberlain on the boards? He's been a good rebounder before, but this is getting silly. In a good way of course.

Now see this is the difference between the top two guys in the ROY race and the rest. #3 guy mght be Johnny Flynn, but tonight Chris Paul is back and inspired, and he just destroyed him. Just ran him off the court wiht a near triple double of 16pts 6rebs 15ast 8stls. And Flynn just had no answers and finished with 6pts 2reds 4ast and wondering what the hell was that train that just ran me over. That's kind of what you would expect for a rook. For Tyreke to have gone out there in his second game and just stare CP3 down and go tow to toe with him was just remarkable.

It looks like the Bobcats are mere seconds away from winning the golden raspberry.

So, two wins against the Bobcats, with nineteen losses in between.

What a waste of three damned good performances out of Wallace, Jackson and Felton; when your starting backcourt combines for fifty-six points, and your starting small forward gets twenty rebounds, you're supposed to win.

So it is without doubt....... the Lakers are compelled by the power of Satan. Anyone who was watching that Lakers - Heat game knows what I'm talking about. Their is just no other way that shot goes in.

Turns out he said it, to SI of all places.

Now whether he believed it or not who knows.

Did anyone see Lebron's antics from last night? I don't understand how a professional basketball player can dance on the freethrow line while shooting free throws. That is as disrespectful as it gets in my opinion. I thought Noah had every right to say whatever he said to Lebron.

He did not dance on the free throw line. He did dance on the bench and during timeouts, but hey ive seen other players do worse

FF about 6 months to the bitter face he's gonna have as he walks off the court w/o shaking hands.

There are worse things, but in terms respecting the opposition he showed none. And he was doing something on the line, whether that was dancing I am not really sure. Why else would have Noah shook his head as Lebron was shooting the free throws?

Combination of Noah being frustrated and tired of LeBron's antics. Don't read too much into it. I don't mind what LBJ was doing. He didn't run up to the Bulls bench and start dancing. No worse off than the bowling or picture routine they do.

On the other hand, I found myself, when Kobe was taking that shot, as soon as it left his hand, saying, "****... this is going in for sure" And sure enough... I hate that he has reached that status with me. Whoever said it was dead on... Satan must sponsor that team somehow. BTW... Wade just looked like he hates his team, his life and anybody within a 10 foot radius. His body language was just atrocious, and SO MANY TIMES he just jogged back on D about 10 seconds later than everybody. Just awful...

And of course, I had him on the bench of all my fantasy teams with him on the roster, 'cause he was injured

That's reason #1 on a long list of why I'll never participate in another weekly fantasy league again, as long as I live.

In other news, the All-Father was taken out of the Rose Garden on a stretcher, after knee-to-knee contact with Aaron Brooks.
