Man, Kawhi is almost done done isn’t he? His body is clearly failing him. He still has swelling after months of no games? It has to be an acute condition and it doesn’t seem like it’s something that will ever go away, at least not while he’s in the NBA. Unfortunate.

I wonder if he knew about this before the JJ interview. In my head I was giving him credit for not talking hardly at all after asking a question, thought it was one of his best interviews. Looking back I wonder if he wasn’t as jovial and inquisitive as normal for a reason

He's the big loser in this scenario but he already got paid and he's still going to get a lot of minutes so he probably doesn't mind. That team needed an actual PG badly last season so this is probably the right move for them. It would be convenient for us, though if they continue to underwhelm...

And the same goes for the rest of our aging divisional competition. The Clipper Ships seem to be imploding already with the next verse in the Kawhi Leonard regular season ballad looking to be the same as all of the others. The Lakers are really just a Lebron James vanity project at this point (with apologies to AD who deserves better). And I believe we can count on Buddy "Sleeper Cell" Hield to put the final nail into Golden State's championship aspirations.

I can see him taking the Tim Duncan route after his playing days and just disappearing from media, although I've seen a Duncan interview with Richard Jefferson months ago. Kawhi has future dojo owner in the woods or mountains written in stone.

If he can somehow stay healthy all the way to Los Angeles, I like their chances a hell of a lot better than who we sent this year: I'd watch, for sure.
