^ That statement could have been made at any point in the last seventy-five years, about any jerseys the Celtics have ever worn, and it still would have been true.
Jokic would have been better off taking that runner, than trying to pass it to Green.
When the kings lose to or barely beats a team “actively trying to lose” they suck. So when the #2 team in the west loses at pretty much full strength, what are we supposed to think?Rockets just beat Memphis.

If Murray were healthy, the Nuggets would be a ****ing problem.
Jokic with one of the most insane stat lines you’ll ever see 46 12 11 w 4 blocks 3 steals on 16-22 shooting and that somehow doesn’t capture just how good he was in the 4th and OT - against one of the hottest teams in the league
Sitting at 12-1 in Boogie games I’d say they’re a problem already
I won’t be there but I really hope we give him a standing O. Love him or hate him for his on the court antics, he was a really great guy for the city of Sacramento and loved the fans.Nuggets have a back-to-back tomorrow night, against the Warriors, and then Wednesday @Kings. If he's available, it'll be Cousins' first game in Sacramento since October 26, 2017.
Luka's dad is Serbian so.....it's nice to see that two of the best players in the association happen to come from the Balkan countries
Technically not the Balkans but Giannis is from the same general region too.it's nice to see that two of the best players in the association happen to come from the Balkan countries
Jokic > Djokovic

as long at the goal is 10ft above the floor it's always going to be good to be a big man, you just can no longer be a bully big man you have to possess the same skills the smaller guys have.Is Jokic the best player in the NBA right now? Or if he's not, it has to be either Giannis or Embiid right? Maybe the pendulum is swinging back toward big men.
I don't think it ever really left, even though the talking heads like to think so. Almost every top team in the NBA has a legitimate big man that plays a big part in their success. For all the talk about how wings are taking over the league, most of the teams primarily made up of wings don't get very far in the playoffs. Is Jokic the best player in the NBA right now? Kings Fans are so beaten down by years of losing, that they just sort of assume that every bad team is playing for the lottery. One of the Nba's hottest teams....Detroit Pistons with 4 wins out of the last 5. Cade and Marv messing up their lottery balls.
Man, I would love that. Every non-playoff team having an equal chance at, say, the first three picks would make the draft lotto immensely entertaining AND vastly deincentivize tanking. If it was up to me we would just have equal odds for all non playoff teams including the “play in” losers. Stop incentivizing teams to lose, it’s pathetic in a competitive sport. The idea of the lottery is to help the worse teams get better but If you help a mediocre team become a playoff team with a top draft choice that is just as if not more beneficial to the league.

NFL got it right in their process. Look how fast teams turn around and become contenders in that sport from being bottom dwellers. Sure, the window for winning a Superbowl is short but that's the nature of the sport. Building a winner in the NBA is by far the hardest out of all the sports in my opinion, takes a whole lot to go right to even consider being in contention and there are only a handful of contenders each season to begin with.
NBA has 5 starting players while NFL has 24 starting players (11 on offense, 11 on defense, and the kicker/punter).
Each NBA starter has a baseline 20% impact before adjusting up or down for mins played, quality, role, etc. Each NFL starter has a baseline 4% impact before adjusting up or down for position, mins played, quality…
So hence why it’s harder to build a winner in the NBA. Before adjustments, a generational player like Lebron has 5x the impact on his team than a generational player like Brady on his.
5x because of the above .20 to .04 ratio. Need an absolute star to change an NBA franchise.
