The sad thing is there is a chance these teams actually get a bit better, or more solid in their ability to hang in the middle which isn't good for the Kings not breaking that playoff drought record. Other teams are letting the chaos create change, the Kings are deciding to basically just sit in theirs. If it works out? Great. If not, you're just that much farther behind the 8 ball.

We should all let rich people run the world. Since they are so good at business, they can do anything and succeed.
One thing Cuban has going for him is a winning legacy. Now, whether it was his doing or not, it gives him rope. But oh boy, watching him find himself closer the top of the **** list of owners would be so awesome. Why get better when everyone else can just get worse? lol.

Wow lots of drama in the nba right now. Portland, Denver and now Dallas at major crossroads. the Mavs have time still but the nuggets and Blazers need to act now. I proposed it in another thread but I think the Blazers should trade Lillard to the Nuggets for Jamal Murray, MPJ and 2 first rounders. The Nuggets would be contenders for the next three years and the Blazers could do a quick reset around MPJ and Murray. Hell, they could they trade CJ to the Mavs for Porzingis and a first.

Denver has Lillard and Joker
Dallas has Luka and Cj
Portland has MPJ, Murray, Porzingis and a bunch of first rounders.

so with the departure of Nelson and Carlisle, is this really just Cuban cleaning house or are media outlets labeling this as "dysfunction" because he chooses to go another route?

Cuban told the media he wasn't going to fire Carlisle less than a week ago and that the athletic guys were lying only to fire his gm a day later..
