The Thunder cause me to have the worst cognitive dissonance. Like, they are a team that I would hypothetically root for, if it weren't for the fact that my pettiness won't allow me to not hate Sam Presti. I don't want that guy to ever be validated by anything he does professionally, so I feel like I have to root for Oklahoma City to fail in order to spite him.

I have to ask. What has Presti done for you to hate?

Why does it make a difference to you why I hate Sam Presti?

Cmon man, you made a pretty big proclamation on a public forum, where you are a long term poster and moderator, and you’re feigning surprise at why someone would ask you to clarify your outrage?

Not everything has to be a thing.

First of All™, I'm not "feigning" anything. Second of All, I'm not the least bit surprised: if there was anybody on this board who was going to ask me that question, there was a one hundred percent chance it was going to be him. And the fact that I knew that is the reason why I responded the way that I did.

And, with that being said, that's as close to an answer as he's going to get out of me.

it is a forum after all, you act like asking you this question is beneath you
I would classify "beneath me" as an inaccurate choice of words, I just don't want to engage with it, and I don't feel like explaining why I don't want to engage with it. I mean, you can ask whatever question you want, I'm not going to stop you. That doesn't mean that I'm going to answer you, though; it doesn't even mean that I'm going to give you a snark-free answer, if I do decide to.

I felt like taking a cheap shot at Sam Presti, that's it, and that's all. If I felt like explaining why I hate Sam Presti, I would have led with that.

being mad at the world must be a mentally consuming activity

According to Ernie Johnson, this was only the third game that has been played all season (to date) where both teams scored less than 100 points.

Sloppy play and some killer defense by both teams. Both teams need another scorer. Not sure I would have called that foul on that scramble for the ball

The "We Gettin' Arab Money" Cup stays delivering, I don't give a damn what anybody says. That was an entertaining first quarter. Could have done with fewer threes, but still.

They are saying it’s likely a first round pick going to the Nets given that was the asking price and it’s being done early. Does that set the market for useful bench pieces at a first rounder?

yeh I just saw the update. Thats probably good news for us as far as trade value but kind of annoying they got a good player for essentially 2 second rounders given they get one back from the Nets
Yeah I think Schroeder is a bit overrated so him fetching a first would have surprised me. Maybe the Nets value Melton's contract if they plan to trade him as part of another deal?

It's all about market I guess. If the Wiz still want a first or two for Kuz or the Nets want one for DFS/Cam Johnson then they'll have to wait for a team to get desperate more than likely.
