I have to agree with Chuck: no other sport does as good a job of honoring and celebrating their legends during their All-Star break than the NBA; it warmed my heart to see the arena sing "happy birthday" to Mister Russell.

Actually Major League Baseball does it quite well - this moment etched in memory at '99 All-Star game because of Ted Williams.

That was, indeed, a good moment, but I get the sense that that's a periodic thing with MLB and other sports, whereas it happens much more regularly with the NBA.

If you miss the "old days," you should have felt right at home: I mean, I like Pharrell, and Snoop, and Busta, and all them, but I thought I'd fallen through a wormhole, and was back in 2001...

Pharrell's revived his career over the last year and Snoop is Snoop but I had absolutely no idea Busta was still alive.
