The only "issue" perhaps is his speed in releasing each shot. I think taller guys like Korver/Belinelli who don't use much legs have the advantage in this contest.

Okay, this format (for the dunk contest) totally and complete sucks. It's getting way too freaking complicated.
Shaq just about has to go with Ben, right?![]()
He's just jealous because he doesn't have any.Oh, so nice Charles. Make a "nappy" joke about Ben's hair? WTF?
I'll never be worse than the wheel.Okay, this format (for the dunk contest) totally and complete sucks. It's getting way too freaking complicated.
Can't blame them for trying after the constant displeasure with the dunk contest the last few years. Let's give it a shot and judge it at the end
I'll never be worse than the wheel.
Hey, Ben didn't do too badly.
He reminds me of Steve Francis, in that regard. His hands might be a little too small to control it.Yeah but the same problems evident - his hands don't look good catching the ball... He has the hops, but the hands are a little more questionable
As I've said before, I like all of All-Star Weekend, and the dunk contest just fine. But, the dunk contest will never be "back," until they can get the stars to come back.
And the stars aren't coming back. Dominique and Doc did a good job touching on it during the Open Court episode, I think: the stars have become too invested in their "brand," and take themselves way too seriously. Back in the day, they wanted to see who "the man" was, and I think 'Nique had it about right: guys nowadays are scared to find out they're not "the man."

FIFYLike Lebron, who year after year claims hewould win the dunk contest, but never actually participateswill participate in next year's dunk contest, and then chickens out?
