[NBA] 2024 Free Agency mega-thread

Wagner was gutter-bad in the 7th game 1st round loss to the Cavs this year. Granted that was 1 game, but a real important one.
Dude’s still young so there’s plenty of time for him to figure it out. Dude’s gotta fix his perimeter shot though.

If we somehow got Lauri along with DDR, I literally wouldn’t even know what do or how to react. I’d be tickled pink. If we somehow kept Keegan through all of this as well, putting all my money on the Kings!
I don’t know if that would work cap-wise down the road.

Markkanen is going to be on a max deal. Add that to Sabonis’ contract, Fox’s new max deal, Murray’s rookie extension, Ellis’ new deal, etc. and we’re already going to be tight on money. DeRozan making $20-25 mil 3 years from now will likely put us in cap hell.

If we go the DeRozan route, I think we’d be targeting another non-max level player like Finney-Smith that would allow the money to work long term.

I like him too but I wonder where he fits. He doesn’t shoot threes or offer a ton on offense so I’m not sure he would give us a difffent look to Len. Potential there for sure
He is a good rebounder and plays tough defense. He can shoot 3s (even in college), he just didn't take many in Philly.
