Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of guys. For me the final straw with that franchise was when they burned Klay on his way out the door. Not that I'm a huge fan of Klay Thompson but that showed like the zero class.

If Chicago added a couple of first round picks to unload LaVIne, then he may be worth a shot. If he could transition to Small Forward, he may be have a role on this team.

People are making fun of him but he must be doing something right because his defensive impact stats are still pretty much better than anyone on the Kings. He's either fooling the analytics or he's more effective than he looks.
A fairly consistent player, but he cant put the team on his shoulders....he had some good games vs Nuggets, and was one of those only-show players to show up in a game or 2 when most other players were horrendous in the Mavs series debacle. Not gonna move the needle much overall. though. Decent bench player - ok.
He's been a valuable role player for nearly a decade now. Slo-mo and all. Feels like we shouldn't be poo-pooing dudes like that when we've had so few of guys like him the last 2 decades.

If that happens I hope the warriors let him be the primary ball handler in any crunch situation with us.
Reading up on this, basically causes the Lakers to have no flexiblity to do any trades or rework their roster unless they cap dump someone. So as of now:
Lakers add: Knecht, Bronny
Lakers lose: Prince, Dinwiddie
