Holmes redid his deal to lower the cost next year so it now fits under the MLE (and can be traded for the MLE). Plus a few grand on the option year guaranteed.

With so many teams in the west losing key pieces, if not absolutely vital ones, this is our chance to make a move and put ourselves in the upper tier. Hopefully we manage to do something. It’s pretty clear we are determined to do something with the space we created. Let’s hope it works. Ingram is a good player, would prefer Markkanen, but we know how Ainge is so the price is probably crazy steep.

The Kings would probably have to give up a couple 1st round picks/ plus Barnes/Huerter at least for Markkanen - and the Jazz most likely wouldn't do it anyway.

Took the most money and probably expects they'll move him at some point

Ok 3 first rounders or + 2 second rounders too..........it just wont happen anyway with the Jazz decent draft this year.
