[NBA] 2024 Free Agency mega-thread

Then again, I can kind of see his point. The question on the Nuggets was whether they were a dynasty, or a team that just has a shot year in year out. Never a team to truly dominate for like 3-4 years straight. Just good enough to always be in the discussion. Pope is a good player, but clearly not the difference for them if they are thinking rings and only rings. They are very much a team like the Spurs. Now, they might need to float for a bit, maybe land a Kawhi at some point.

No way on green Earth Lebron James plays a full regular season flip a coin that he's injured at least a third of the season too.

Feels like the Clippers were sorta banking on getting CP3 on waivers. Don’t know what they do now haha

I actually love this for the Spurs. He'll teach all them kids how to be actual pros and be the vet leader in that locker room.

But why would CP3 spend maybe his last season there? Doesn't make a ton of sense.
I don’t know if many other teams wanted him at this point

Pope leaving hurts the Nuggets alot - their best defender gone. Not that I hate the Nuggets, but I'd think that's worth several more losses.

With so many teams in the west losing key pieces, if not absolutely vital ones, this is our chance to make a move and put ourselves in the upper tier. Hopefully we manage to do something. It’s pretty clear we are determined to do something with the space we created. Let’s hope it works. Ingram is a good player, would prefer Markkanen, but we know how Ainge is so the price is probably crazy steep.
