Take Ron Artest at his word at your own risk. First he wanted out of Indiana. Then he didn't. Then he didn't want to go to Sacramento. Then he did. Now that he's there, he can see the Kings winning a championship. Until, of course, he can't. -- R.B.

He never said he didn't want to come to Sac, he (and Walsh and Stevens) said he'd go anywhere a number of times through-out the whole idle-time. I never read a quote by him or his agent that he did not want to come to Sac.

Just another in-depth comment brought to you by ESPN. I'd give it all the respect it's worth...

Yeah, the only mention the Kings get is to be made fun of (twice). Not one mention of a rather remarkable season turn-around.

You're kidding right? The agent made it VERY clear. It was jsut a question of whetehr that was the agent or Ron himself speaking.

I didn't read or hear of it (do not want to come to Sac), no. Just from SAS a couple times, and there were other things being said at the time.

Nor does it matter since "anywhere" was said more during the 2 months, and everything was cleared up eventually when the trade happened and the few days following it. :)

Ron has stated that was just his agent talking and he also said that he knew he was coming to Sacramento the whole time.
